Want a box that looks designed?Ready-to-cut boxes, organizers and gifts with real artwork, from $3.
How to use it
- Pick the box style and enter the size. Choose "Inside space" if something has to fit in the box.
- Enter the thickness you measured and your kerf. The file is offset by half the kerf, so parts come out at the size you set.
- Download the SVG and open it in LightBurn, xTool Creative Space or the Glowforge app. All lines are red cut lines in millimetres.
Before you cut
- Cut one corner first: a bottom and one side. If it is too tight, add 0.05 mm clearance. If it falls apart, lower the clearance or raise the kerf.
- Kerf on CO₂ lasers is usually 0.1–0.2 mm, on diode lasers 0.08–0.15 mm. It changes with material and focus.
- Keep the finger width at 2–4 times the material thickness for strong joints.
FAQ
Can I sell boxes made from these files?
Yes. Files from this generator are free for personal and commercial use. You can sell the boxes you make.
Why are corners notched on some panels?
Every edge, corners included, has fingers. The bottom panel owns the corners, so the walls are notched there and the box holds square without clamps.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
Which format should I choose?
SVG for LightBurn, xTool and Glowforge. DXF for CAD programs and older laser software.
